Chainflip Is Now Live in Trezor Suite via SwapKit for Native Cross-Chain Swaps

Chainflip is now live in Trezor Suite through SwapKit, so Trezor hardware wallet users can swap native assets cross-chain from Suite's rebuilt Trade section and confirm every swap on their device. Trezor announced the SwapKit integration on November 3, 2026, SwapKit confirmed Trezor is live on November 4, and announced the same day that it is "live in @Trezor via @SwapKitPowered." It's the same protocol you can use directly to swap native BTC to ETH, now reachable from inside Suite.

What's new in Trezor Suite

Trezor rebuilt the Trade section of Suite, and its announcement says "SwapKit now integrated." Trezor describes SwapKit as a DEX aggregator that finds a route for your swap across networks and builds the transaction for you to approve on your Trezor. The same post lists LI.FI (now also on Bitcoin), 1inch, Changelly and ChangeNOW as the other providers in Trade.

Chainflip reaches Trezor users through SwapKit, which lists it among its 16+ liquidity providers alongside THORChain, Mayan and NEAR Intents. SwapKit describes Chainflip as swapping native assets between Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana through vaults secured by its validator set, with no wrapped assets.

Trezor says DEX swaps in Trade cover Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM chains, Solana, Zcash, XRP, Tron, Litecoin and Dogecoin. Chainflip's quotes are limited to the pairs it supports, such as native BTC, ETH and SOL, USDC and USDT on Ethereum and Solana, and TRX and USDT on Tron. Other providers handle the networks Chainflip doesn't cover, like Zcash, XRP, Litecoin and Dogecoin.

If you don't use a Trezor or prefer to swap on Chainflip directly, you can use Chainflip's own app, which is separate from the Suite flow.

How to swap with Chainflip in Trezor Suite

You don't select Chainflip by hand. SwapKit compares quotes from every provider that supports your pair, and Chainflip's route appears when it's one of them. Here is the flow SwapKit describes:

  1. Open Trezor Suite and click Swap.

  2. Pick the asset you're sending and the asset you want to receive.

  3. Compare the quotes SwapKit returns, including Chainflip's when it supports the pair.

  4. Review the details, then confirm the transaction on your Trezor.

  5. Track the swap in Suite until the native asset reaches your receiving address.

According to SwapKit, your keys never leave the Trezor and funds go straight to your receiving address. Swaps settle as the native asset, so BTC arrives as BTC on Bitcoin, not as a wrapped token. You can also look up Chainflip-routed swaps on Chainflip Scan.

Why it matters for Trezor users

Cross-chain swaps from a hardware wallet often meant moving funds to a centralized exchange or settling for a wrapped token on another chain. With SwapKit in Suite, the device signs the transaction and the output is the native coin. Moves like selling native BTC for USDC or buying native SOL with ETH can now start and finish in Suite.

Chainflip adds a route built specifically for native cross-chain swaps. Its vaults are secured by validators under a decentralized custody model, so no centralized custodian holds funds mid-swap. The protocol has processed $10.32B in all-time swap volume according to Chainflip Scan. Because SwapKit compares every provider that supports a pair, Chainflip's quote competes directly with the others on each swap.

Trezor joins other wallets and apps that reach Chainflip through SwapKit, including Tangem's hardware wallets, Bitget Wallet for Solana cross-chain swaps and Wormhole Portal.

Get started

If you hold assets on a Trezor, Chainflip is already one of the routes SwapKit can quote in Suite's Trade section: pick a supported pair, compare quotes, and confirm on the device. To swap on Chainflip directly with any compatible wallet, use the Chainflip swap app.

FAQ

Is Chainflip available in Trezor Suite?

Yes. Chainflip is available in Trezor Suite through SwapKit, which Trezor integrated into its rebuilt Trade section. When Chainflip supports the pair you choose, its route appears among the quotes SwapKit compares.

Did Trezor partner with Chainflip directly?

No. Trezor's announcement names SwapKit, LI.FI, 1inch, Changelly and ChangeNOW as providers in Trade, and Chainflip does not appear in it. Trezor users reach Chainflip through SwapKit, which lists Chainflip as one of its liquidity providers.

Will I receive wrapped tokens when swapping through Chainflip in Trezor Suite?

No. SwapKit says swaps settle as the native asset and funds go straight to your receiving address. A BTC swap delivers BTC on Bitcoin, not a wrapped version on another chain.

Which assets can Chainflip quote in Trezor Suite?

Chainflip only quotes pairs it supports, such as native BTC, ETH and SOL, USDC and USDT on Ethereum and Solana, and TRX and USDT on Tron. Networks in Trade that Chainflip doesn't cover, like Zcash, XRP, Litecoin and Dogecoin, are served by other providers.

Do my keys leave my Trezor during a swap?

No. According to SwapKit, your keys stay on the Trezor and you confirm each swap on the device itself. Suite then lets you track the swap until it completes.
