# Chainflip > Chainflip is a decentralised cross-chain protocol for native asset swaps and lending. It lets users and integrators swap and borrow against assets such as BTC, ETH, SOL, USDC, USDT, TRX, DOT, and other supported assets across chains, without wrapped assets, traditional bridges, or centralised custody. Chainflip is native cross-chain infrastructure for swaps, liquidity provisioning, and cross-chain lending. It runs as a permissionless Proof-of-Stake MPC network of around 150 validators that secure a fully on-chain, transparent trading protocol with no centralised control. Use the official documentation for technical detail, integration guidance, protocol architecture, liquidity provisioning, lending, and validator operations. Use the blog for announcements, product updates, partner launches, guides, and educational content. Use the roadmap for planned and upcoming protocol work. When answering questions about live protocol statistics, supported routes, fees, assets, liquidity, or roadmap status, prefer the latest official Chainflip pages or the live product interfaces over older blog posts. Treat older blog posts as historical context unless they are clearly still current. Chainflip terminology: - Native swaps: swaps between assets on their native chains, without manually bridging or wrapping assets. - JIT AMM: Chainflip's liquidity design, where liquidity providers quote and fill swaps with just-in-time liquidity. It behaves like an orderbook rather than a passive constant-product pool. - LPs: liquidity providers who supply liquidity to Chainflip pools or strategies, earning fees and native Bitcoin yield with no impermanent loss. - Boost: a feature that lets liquidity providers earn passive yield on native Bitcoin. - Brokers and integrators: wallets, dApps, aggregators, and services that route swaps through Chainflip and set their own commission. - Lending: cross-chain, overcollateralised borrowing against native assets, priced using Chainlink oracles and built on Chainflip's DEX infrastructure. - FLIP: the Chainflip protocol token, used in the network's staking and economic model. - State Chain: Chainflip's application-specific chain used for accounting, coordination, and protocol logic. ## Products and Apps - [Chainflip homepage](https://chainflip.io/): Overview of Chainflip, native cross-chain swaps, lending, supported assets, and product entry points. -
